Raita - yoghurt dip

Serves 4-6

This lovely dip is traditionally used as an accompaniment to curries, but is also good with falafels, salad and pitta - amongst other things!

  • 1 tub Sojasun dairy-free yogurt, or half a tub of plain Alpro Yofu
  • 1-2 tbsp soya or other dairy-free milk
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh mint
  • Quarter of a cucumber, grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: large pinch of cumin powder or garam masala
  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Add more dairy-free milk if the mixture is too thick, making sure you stir in thoroughly.
  3. Chill and serve.
